Have you been to Toronto Island? I had not. Its such a magical place. There was a deserted play ground, beaches and a rainbow walkway. The water is Lake Ontario (on Canadian maps) and Lake America (on American maps). To me it will always be Lake Ontario and will always be beautiful.

I made it back to Papi! I can`t tell you the last time I had pasta bolognaise! Its been decades! What a treat! This was delicious and safe. It was gluten free, mushroom free, dairy free and egg free! It was very reasonablely priced to boot! If you are in NYC, you should go!

Of course the first place this Canuck needs to go in NYC, is here! The owner is from BC. Fair warning there is no smoked meat on the menu. However, the vibe makes up for it. And the owner seems to have a cheeky sense of humor. Check out the last pictures. These studs were hanging in the ladies bathroom! It made me want to go into the men`s washroom. I wonder if Pamela Anderson is featured there?!

I realized with all the fun I was having, I forgot to take pictures of the food! I know.. rookie mistake!
Featured here is a pure ginger tea and an acai bowl. The tea was simply a huge piece of ginger simmered in hot water. It was not even peeled! Surprisingly it was good, especially with the honey. I am going to replicate this at home. The acai bowl had berries, chia seeds, and coconut. I had them hold the nuts as I am allergic. I promise I ate more than this. The scale proves it! I brought home an extra 3 lbs as a souvenir. Definitely worth it, as I got to spend quality time with family. Until next time EU!

We visited the quaintest "gated" city in France, called Yvoire. It was like traveling back in time through a fairy tale. The Castle itself is still privately held by the Bouvier family, so you cannot visit it. The rest of the village is set up like a fort in a walled in city setting right on the water. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. My food was delicious and allergy friendly.

Fair warning! If you are afraid of heights, do not visit the Gorges du Fier. It is located 10 km outside of Annecy. The footbridge is 25 meters in the air over the river and boulders. It is quite a site to behold. The photos do not do it justice. It will take your breath away!

Ever felt like you walked into a Disney movie? That was my day today. It was a cross between a French garden and a Japanese tea garden. It was so beautiful and serene. For all my creative friends, there was so much to see! The owners were originally furniture designers.This garden is situated outside of Annecy. It started out as merely a vision in the 1980s. Today, it has gardens, a pool, lodging and even a restaurant. The food was tasty and the staff handled my allergies (and my sister`s) perfectly. If you are in the area, you should definitely visit.

Today was a first for me. I went paddle boarding...although there is no proof of it! Here I am riding or should I say sitting. I was also able to stand up for a few minutes and paddle. It was a huge challenge for me and I got to do it on Lake Geneva! I am an addict. I need to do this again. If you are a fan a paddle boarding, where do you go?

I was so lucky to be able to go exploring today with my niece and nephew in this splendid city, Lausanne. Europe is under a crazy heat wave, so why not make the most of it and be outside! Many places don`t have ac anyway. The breeze was refreshing and so was the view!

This restaurant is divine!!! You know when you go to a restaurant and they need to change so many ingredients in a dish due to your allergies, that it comes out very bland? This is the complete opposite!!! I gave them my Allergy Chef card and they returned an exquisite meal. So tasty and flavorful. I wish mores restaurants would follow suit!
